Mojito

Ingredients:


1/2 Lime

2 Heaped tsp Golden Caster Sugar

12 Fresh Mint Leaves

Crushed Ice

50ml Bacardi Superior

Soda Water







Method:


  1. Slice 1/2 a lime into 4 wedges and place them into a tall glass with 2 heaped teaspoons of golden caster sugar. Briefly muddle then twist the 12 fresh mint leaves once and hit on the worktop. This releases the aroma. Rub the leaves around the rim of the tall glass, then drop them into it. Use a muddler to gently push the leaves down into the lime.

  2. Now half fill the glass with crushed ice and pour 50mls of Bacardi Superior, muddle until all the sugar dissolves. Now top the glass off with crushed ice and a splash of soda water. Job done!
